What type of Windshield Damage Can be Repaired?
We can repair chips up to the size of a dime/quarter, and single line cracks up to 18 inches long.
Will the repair make the crack completely invisible?
No. The repair will make the crack look 70-95% less noticeable. From most angles it will be virtually unnoticeable. The main purpose of the repair however is to prevent the crack from spreading and this is what we guarantee – that the crack will never spread!
What is your lead time? How soon can you be at my home or office?
The majority of our work is done on a same day or next basis. If you call before 12 pm we can most likely be there that afternoon. However if you call the day before it helps us in our scheduling and it will ensure you get your preferred time slot.
How long Does a Windshield Replacement Take?
The average replacement takes about an hour to complete. Before you drive your vehicle, you need to wait 1 hour to allow the urethane time to cure (using Essex Express Advanced Cure Urethane). If the windshield is replaced by one of our competitors you would most likely need to let the vehicle sit for 4-15 hours before driving – depending upon the type of urethane being used.
Can MasterGlass bill my insurance company directly?
Yes. We can work with all major insurance companies. It is important that you call us first before calling your insurance company. This will prevent you from being illegally steered to another glass shop that does not guarantee crack repairs, and that may use a cheaper quality glass and adhesive.
